Dr. Christos Bakirtzis is a neurologist. Ηe holds a master's degree in Social Psychiatry from the Democritus University of Thrace and a Ph.D. from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. He currently works in the second Department of Neurology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with clinical, teaching, and research duties. He has participated in numerous clinical trials with regard to novel pharmaceutical agents for multiple sclerosis. He has published more than 80 Pubmed indexed articles in the fields of neuropsychology, neuroimaging, and neuroimmunology. He was an invited speaker at several international and national congresses.
