Article processing charge

The Journal of Clinical and Translational Research (JCTR) is an open-access journal under AccScience Publishing. All articles published in the Journal of Clinical and Translational Research can be freely accessed from the journal's website. An article processing charge (APC) of USD 1000 applies to papers accepted after peer review. In order to ensure contents are freely available and maintain publishing quality, Article Process Charges (APC) are levied on all authors whose papers are accepted for publication after peer review to cover the costs incurred in manuscript processing, such as copy-editing, typesetting, publishing, content depositing, and archiving processes. Articles that do not require peer review, such as letters, editorials, corrigenda, and addenda, will be published free of charge.

This charge does not include taxes. If you reside in any European Union country, you must include the applicable Value-Added Tax (VAT) at the rate in your respective country. Institutions not located in the UK that are covering your fee can utilize the EU reverse charge method for recording the VAT charge, exempting the need to add VAT to the invoice. These institutions must provide their VAT registration number. If you reside in Japan, you are required to include the Japanese Consumption Tax (JCT) at the rate determined by the Japanese government.

In the Journal of Clinical and Translational Research, withdrawal of submission refers to the removal of a new submission, a paper currently under peer review, an accepted paper, or an Article in Press from the online submission system. In the event that authors insist on withdrawing a submission on unethical and unreasonable grounds (see the link: https://accscience.com/information/apc mentioned *unethical and unreasonable reasons*), a submission withdrawal fee of 30% of the prevailing Article Processing Charge will be levied on the authors. Submission withdrawal is also possible for accepted papers that have not been formally published, including newly accepted papers and Articles in Press. Authors should note that any amounts of paid Article Processing Charge will not be refunded if their accepted papers or Articles in Press are withdrawn on the grounds of academic misconduct and ethical violations in research and publication.

Payment method

Payment shall be made via wire transfer to the publisher. Details will be provided on an official invoice upon acceptance of the manuscript.
